As you already know Gaga was suffering while playing Bayo, it was difficult for her. Am I still alive? Where am I, I cry Who was it that pulled the trigger, was it you or I? I'm completely numb Why you acting dumb I won't blame myself 'cause we both know you were the one She's wondering if she survived the boss, she's struggling and wants to cry - the struggle that every gamer feels when they lose very often, the quit rage. She's so lost that she doesn't even know who pulled the trigger, her or Bayo herself, because how crazy and confusing the game is. Her hands are numb, Bayo is acting funny because she can't control her anymore with the controller She's like giving up, ok it's a stupid glitch in the game. The scars on my mind are on replay, r-replay - the will to beat the game are like scars, they are stretched into your mind, every gamer knows how is when you just thikn about a game all day, all night, none stop and just wants to f-cking beat. "The monster inside you is torturing me" she's talking about the game, the monsters in Bayo are torturing her because it's so damn difficult. Every single day, yeah I dig a grave Then I sit inside it, wondering if I'll behave It's a game I play, and I hate to say You're the worst thing and the best thing that's happened to me Everyday she's turning on the tv, launching the game, digging this grave and knows that she's into a difficult journey of anger, frustration, failure and replaying over and over with the wish to just win. She's in a love/hate relationship with this game, she really wish to just rage quit and never look back, but she really wants to beat it. Psychologically, it's something that I can't explain Scratch my nails into the dirt to pull me out of pain Does it matter, does it matter? Damage is done Does it matter, does it matter? She's losing her mind a bit and feeling self destruct, a feeling that every gamer knows, how damaging the gaming can be sometimes. But she's ok with it, it doesn't matter, she's already in this sh-t and she needs to beat it. "you had the gun" a reference to the guns of Bayo. Anything can be a form of inspo for an artist whether it comes from something you find childish or not.
