Was her phone in the car? It could give any clue...

Very true. They will probably give more facts later on in the week, so far they didn't disclose much. You are right, if the phone is left in her car, it can be pretty suspicious

i hate that people automatically assumed she committed suicide in front of her 4 year old and left him on a boat by himself. SO disrespectful when this lake is known to kill people even with life jackets on. the bag is probably water and snacks like someone said and tbh when a place isn’t crowded and has a ton of spots sometimes my parking isn’t the best either.

I mean you have to consider the possibility of suicide in these cases, especially given some of the circumstances. I don’t think it’s disrespectful. Just a possible reality

I don't see what's disrespectful, people just have their own theories about what happened. Of course if it's said in a disrespectful way then yes

if you can’t see how it’s disrespectful to her (without proof, all people have is she parked weird?) to say that she committed suicide in front of her child, had him swim back to the boat by himself (there is a quote of him saying he was swimming back but she wasn’t following), and had him by himself in a boat at FOUR years old, then i’m sorry something is wrong with you. you’re assuming she left her child in a horrible position where he could’ve died himself about someone who could and probably is very well dead and can’t defend themselves from a pretty damning accusation. people should wait to say such things until there is a reason to say them. so yes, it’s disrespectful.

i really don't think it was necessary to share this footage. people are going to especulate and create more chaos over nothing. ex: the way she parked, white bags and etc...

the level of disrespect :(

If the wallet and purse are already reported to be found, and nothing about the phone yet: a) it could already be in possession of the investigators and they're on it, before sharing this information b) Naya was carrying it or maybe she even threw it...

The only thing that stood out to me was how she was walking ahead with her kid trailing behind. Mostly with a kid that little I think you would walk beside or even have them in front of you to keep an eye on them?

That also struck me as well.

I think you see it as disrespectful because you see it as an attack of her motherhood. But sadly, depression is a very real disease and can make people who suffer and are untreated to do things that mentally healthy people cannot imagine. That reminds me of the lead singer of Linkin Park who was a great dad and had many kids, a wife, and decided to hang himself. It doesn't take away that he was a great dad, he was just in severe psychological pain. So for me, every theory is a theory, but of course everyone hopes she is found alive and well.

Nothing in this video seems suspicious to me. Yeah she parked weird, but I hardy think that’s a reason to start theories that she commit suicide! As for her walking ahead of her son, you can see her looking back to check on her son.

There will be a media briefing apparently from the Ventura County Sheriff

it seems everyone is forgetting that this lake has its own wikipedia page with a tab recounting all of the deaths it has had due to unpredictable currents. people have died with and without life jackets on. but people will jump to the conclusions that left her 4 year old child all alone after she killed herself in front of him before considering otherwise. so yes that is attack on her motherhood and i can’t speak for her but i have a hunch she wouldn’t appreciate people saying that online without facts.

It should be prohibited to swim in that lake, just look at the amount of drownings

Well, some speculate it could be weights. Her wallet was also found in her car, some wonder how she could've paid for that boat, maybe she ordered it online or only brought cash. As for her latest tweet "just the two of us" with her and her kid, some think it could be a sign she was suicidal. Some even link it to the Eminem song "just the two of us" where he raps about bringing his kid to a lake and dumping the mother down the river to drown. This is just cheap conspiracy but I just keep wondering why someone would go to a lake alone with their child and only make their child wear a life vest and not yourself, not only that but deciding to jump in the water while leaving your child on the boat, is something most parent intuitively wouldn't do. In the footage we also notice how fast she's walking almost in a hurry, and how far and fast she parked her car. She's also known for having mental health issues... so to me it points so far more to something calculated than an accident, but who knows. I still have hope she can be found

Omg I hope it's just a coincidence.

Only Heather's talking about it unfortunately.

There’s certain members of the cast who have always been comfortable tweeting in the ‘moment.’ Others always seem to take more time. And in this case, besides Heather, it seems as though the cast members who were still relatively close to her are the ones staying silent. I’d imagine they’re still digesting it and waiting to see what happens before sharing what they feel.

Of course. Let's not jump to conclusions with that. Everyone reacts differently and something this shocking no one's first instinct will be to tweet. Well for some it can be for others not
