Everyone in this thread saying Rih “never had a passion for music.” Maybe Def Jam milked her for every album & single they could get out of her which ultimately burned out that passion. 
 

I’m disappointed that there’s still no album but she is a living legend and is enjoying different aspects of her creativity for now.

I mean she just sang whatever the writing camps offered her. That's not the type of passion that artists like Gaga, Madonna or Ariana have. She lasted longer than i thought.

She doesn't need the money from music. Albums don't make that much money anymore, it all comes from touring or other business ventures. Fenty Beauty probably made her more than music ever could.

Considering how successful her beauty and fashion brand is, and how passionate she is about them, I wouldn't doubt if she strayed away from music for a while.

I'm glad we got a taste of what music would be like with more creative control from her end (ANTI, which is her best album imo). If she ever returns to music, I do hope she takes more creative reigns, as it showed really great results. It was a surprise, even to me!

I agree we have to be grateful Gaga at least keeps making music. But imo, the situation we're in rn is not that much better  the one time we got a pop album from Gaga in 7 YEARS, we have a whole a*s pandemic, then the racists decided to f*ck it up even more the SAME DAY THE ALBUM WAS RELEASED, and now we're in total uncertianty. Gaga is missing, 0 promotion, not a mention of the album from her/the team, we're spiraling down from every chart, all the hype around ROM and the whole AMAZING album is dying, 0 transparency about the situation and, as time passes, the possibility of almost if not all her projects for the era to be scrapped is growing, and the huge potential the album has is increasingly going to waste.
