On a brighter note Katy opened with more with Smile than One of the boys, first week USA. 

On the steep decline note, Chromatica sold more pure in The UK 38k than Smile did in America 35k ^_^ 

and more with SPS in the UK with 53k compared to Smiles 50k USA ^_^

Had Warner discounted BMR and DSN we could've gotten to #1 and #10 

Hopefully once Levitating is released this month it will get its revenge since there won't be more album bombs, it's the better song anyways but its a shame that budget for BMR's mv went to waste without reaching top ten

Around 10 years ago albums could go platinum fairly easily in the UK (300,000) but sales are so low here now it’s actually really difficult to go platinum now 

Chromatica is on roughly 112k so it has quite a bit to go.

Well, artists in decay are unable to pull a #1 album

Glad to see Gaga, P!nk and Taylor can still debut #1 with great sales despite tough competition sometimes

The fact that despite having a newer and more commercially successful album, Taylor has less monthly listeners than Gaga proves that Taylor’s success is attributed to her fanbase streaming and buying the album over and over again.

hy always this taylor fighting ... I don´t listen so much from taylor cause ... she is kinda the whitest musican ever (which is fine) and also not a genuine sucess story more like her father bought stocks from their record label and stuff ... Which again is fine but honestly I am not that impressed ...Nothing against her success but I am not gona buy or listen songs of her on repeat .....Now can we move on ?

Gaga sold merch bundles,

and at one point sold her album for 99 cents as part of a deal with Amazon.

& we love her dearly.
