Is the US considered the biggest music market?

And if so, if you combined all the other music markets for other countries, how much does it eclipse the US?

US is the biggest music market according to IFPI. I cannot seem to find the exact data for 2019 (as it seems to be behind a paywall) but the top 10 biggest markets in 2019 were:
01 | USA
02 | Japan
03 | UK
04 | Germany
05 | France
06 | South Korea
07 | China
08 | Canada
09 | Australia
10 | Brazil

If you want numbers, then the latest free ones are from 2017 which you can find here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_largest_recorded_music_markets, however as you can see that they are already incorrect as China has grown a lot.

Break My Heart drops to #19 on the Billboard Hot 100 this week. Shame that this is pulling a My Oh My. For awhile there, I really thought it would go top 10 for one week.

The song is completely radio-driven, there was no way for it to reach the Top 10.

Hot 100: #19
---------------
Mainstream Top 40: #2
Radio Songs: #4
Adult Top 40: #8
Adult Contemporary: #17
----------------
iTunes: #48
Spotify: OUT of Top 80
Apple Music: OUT of Top 200

Except for ASIB , which was an anomly imo, its following a somehow similar pattern to other pop albums released by female artists recently. The whole billboard top 200 is filled with rap albums. 14 albums in the top 20 are rap/'urban' albums.

Not only is rap dominating, but men overall are dominating too (one female in the top 10, two in the top 20,  seven in the top 40).

A 90s-inspired dance album by a female is meant to have a challenging album run in 2020 imo -_-'

What other female pop albums had a similar pattern in particular may I ask?

Rare :selena:

Honestly i dont have that many examples and dont care enough for other female popstar to provide chart runs :huntyga:

(Ellie is down 29-141 this week for example)

My post was more about 'its rare (:selena:)for female pop artists to stay in the top 20 for a long time, in this rap , man dominated industry'. Sorry if I expressed it in an unclear way.

You can't say "Chromatica is following a somehow similar pattern to other pop albums released by female artists recently" and then go to say "I don't have that many examples and dont care enough for other female popstar to provide chart runs". It's completely contradictory. You either follow charts and are up to date with other female popstars' releases and performances or not at all.

This seems very 'black or white' but If you say so :huntyga:

I have 0 time or 0 will to track other female popstars (in here or in any other online forum), I just sometimes check the top 200 to get an update once in a while to try to 'get' the current market( I dont track any exact chart run). Here's the one from Rare, posted by you it seems (?) on ATRL after a quick google search :

1 - 6 - 15 - 32 - 33 - 45 - 39 - 41 - 50 - 60 - 70 - 94 - 63 - 19* - 52 - 62 - 78 - 90 - 117 - 132 - 159 - 164 - 178 - 192 - 187 - // (25 weeks total)

We seem to be in a similar spot (slightly better tho) : Minimal Promo + a #1 single.
