Like you said, it's the 12th most played pop song in the country, which means that radio stations are still very much playing it. Trevor Daniels "Falling" isn't on the Interscope site either, yet it's #7.

I understand why you made the thread, but saying that it got "pulled" from radio sounds like Interscope told stations not to play the song and I had to lock it before there are 20 pages of complaining.

Yes, but radio chart is a rolling chart. So it's impossible for a song to be #10 - OUT on radio, so in this case the term "pulled" has a different meaning.

But whatever you call it, the song is definitely done on radio.

I wonder if they will launch a new single soon.

Radio is rolling. That means if you have a bad update look at the update from last week and look if it was a good update. If yes that just means that it was just bad compared to that update of last week but the update from last Thursday was only barely positive with +0.218M AI and +31 spins on pop. This update today is horrifying. It's nearly identical to Stupid Love's first day without radio promotion.

I’m not sure what you’re trying to explain here. I obviously understand that it’s decreasing and being played less, but it’s still being played a lot, enough to be the 12th most played pop song in the country.

They literally stopped playing it. They're not slightly decreasing the amount of plays the song has they just stopped playing ROM altogether. Like I said. This update is virtually identical to the first update Stupid Love had after it got pulled from radio. Interscope thinks it sunk enough money into this and just stopped and radio seemed to have gladly followed.

Are you saying it will be out of the chart in 7 days?

"Pulled" from radios generally means a record label stopped pushing the song on radio/paying to promote it or get it played. It doesn't mean that they delete the song from their playlists and ban radios from playing it... Obviously it will get played still because of its chart placement but it will play much much less. It's the support that is pulled. It's common terminology, not clickbait.

Not every single station will stop playing it immediately but the big ones have better things to do than support a dead song. We will continue to lose between 1.5M-2.5M AI every day for at least a week probably longer. Then it might stabilize around 10M AI from smaller stations where the DJ's just like the song. It's dead on POP but not on AC or HAC yet but these two formats don't even make half of ROM's current AI.

"Pulled from radio" does mean that they "delete the song from their playlists".

Just because 10 stans use it incorrectly doesn't mean that it's common terminology.

THIS is common terminology:

Michael Jackson's songs pulled from radio stations as Leaving Neverland documentary airs

Kesha's latest hit 'Die Young' pulled from radio after school massacre

’Baby, It’s Cold Outside’ pulled from some radio stations following #MeToo complaints

Given that radio update, it looks like ROM will spend a final week in the top 25 on billboard next week and start to tumble. I still think it’ll reach 20 weeks on the Billboard chart, though.

Honestly, what a waste of an era. The fact that this is the kind of music I've been begging for her to release and we didn't got a single performance since the Stupid Love release.

The fact that both ROM and the album could be doing so much better with a small push.
