Yxilon 5,248
Chromatica's chart-run in Mediatraffic has been very similar to ARTPOP's, both albums debuting with very high numbers but falling quite fast lacking longevity (which Joanne had instead) except for a cute but short trend inversion around the 20th week, thanks to G.U.Y. and 911 video releases respectively. Everything could be everything (it could mean anything)

In the other hand, of course Chromatica will have bigger streams than AP since streaming is the main way to purchase music nowadays. AP sold 800k pure sales and has around 1,3-1,4 M SPS in US for example! Chromatica in the end will have something like 350-400k pure sales and over 1M SPS! The majority of the AP total numbers is from pure sales! The majority of Chromatica's total number is from streaming points! What's this stupid comparison? By that logic every pop album Gaga releases it will most definitely be less successful than her previous! And for example, Folklore will be Taylor's lowest selling album (in tradiotional sales for sure). Will you call it unsuccessful because it will sell 1/2 of what reputation has sold? ASIB era spoiled many of you! You should be happy with these numbers especially since Gaga (almost) didn't lift a finger for this era.

Chromatica is going to be her 2nd most streamed album, only behind ASIB.

Freddy 4,421
Why are people comparing a 2013 album with a 2020 album ? Two completely different markets and situations ARTPOP also had promo , when the single promo LG6 ever had was the VMAs , 93 days after the album was released. This is basically the most uneventful album cycle we ever had Chromatica is doing fine imo
