I totally agree with you but on this site unfortunately you can't talk anymore about how smart digital promo strategies could have been because some dumb people will just get defensive towards Gaga without getting the point whatsoever. Maybe she didn’t feel right for her team to promote without being able to promote the album by herself. Im not talking about music videos but for example maybe she didn’t feel right to promote singles and not being able to perform in front of a real crowd and do proper shows.
