It sounds like a Coca Cola christmas advertisement song to me

That song is perfection and it has some of the best lyrics she's EVER written.

I don't mean to be shady but it almost feels like it's not just her who wrote the lyrics (I don't doubt her capability though).

The first verse is simple and brilliant, gets the message across and then you have almost the "Sign o' the Times" by Prince lyrics (that's my reference, maybe yours is different):
