And that was my big problem with the Judas video, like everything was cool but like I didn't see what the whole premise of it was I actually really liked it! All the sped up scenes with the flashes looked SUPER cool! The costumes were EVERYTHING! The addition of Joe was pretty cool too! Loved it, it actually made me enjoy the song more and that's all I can really say! I guess you have to have a somewhat grasp on the Bible to understand the plot of the Judas video but it’s a really creative narrative of the beginning of the Passion story. Even if you don’t believe in it, it’s a good story to learn about. Gosh she is such a bad bitch isn’t she? Releasing that video on Holy Week knowing full well what people were gonna say. I love the metaphor about Judas being a betraying ex and Jesus being the new and more faithful boyfriend. She’s so good. And Paula Abdul ain’t got [BLEEP] on me! I do have a little bit of a grasp, I'm a Christian but I haven't read the Bible yet, sue me But I do know about the kiss and the Judas fiasco, maybe I just wasn't picking it up in the video but it seemed like she was riding a motorcycle, danced in a bunch of cool outfits, had a gun that had lip stick (which I believe is supposed to represent the kiss) and then it ended... Its way too hard for to text all of it here right now but the basic gist is that she’s playing Mary Magdalene and they go to a night club, Judas gets in a fight with the other disciples and when Jesus steps in, Gaga flips the script and helps Judas betray Jesus with the kiss because she puts the lipstick on him. Also she gets stoned at the end because she was washing both their feet together which is a no no for women in Roman times. The nightclub and motorcycles are just a way to modernize the characters.
