Apparently it was supposed to be the last song of K-12 because they were supposed to burn the school down, but had to change that ending because of [edit] budget cuts and her label interjecting. That's why they blew a bubble around the school instead. It also would've made more sense for them to jump off the balcony at the end if the school was on fire...

That's why they blew a bubble around the school instead. It also would've made more sense for them to jump off the balcony at the end if the school was on fire...

She is dropping an EP this Summer called ‘After School’, which is like an encore of K-12. She did the same with CB with the ‘Extra Clutter’ EP. So far, she has dropped Copy Cat with Tierra Whack and this also

I saw Melanie live last year and let me just say I didn’t expect much walking in, but the bitch sang live and danced the whole show. Nowhere near the amount of choreo Gaga does, but still. She put on a great show. 
 

Edit: The boyfriend made me take him for his birthday. I never knew the difference between her and Marina and was upset she didn’t perform Primadonna. Also we had to wait for the doors to open in the rain and a lady from the venue with a bullhorn kept going back and forth down the huge ass line and warning everyone that the floors inside would be slick and not to run. She spent the whole two hours “Do. Not. Run. Don’t do it. Walk when you get inside. Your shoes are wet and you’ll slip. Don’t run. I mean it!” 

When the BF and I got into the theatre we saw some girl in a pool of blood out in GA and medics around her. She probably ran.

That's literally not the reasoning behind it at all ... in the original movie script the burning down of the school was supposed to happen, but her label made some cuts due to her over spending the budget.
So she changed it to the bubble as it was easier to do with CGI, and she left the burning school idea almost as an easter egg, cause Celeste wants to do that but Fleur said that was too much, and Cry Baby said it was cliche.

She has a song about Bombings, but she didn't release it as it didn't fit her character + Marina released Savages (a song about a bombing too), and they are kind of from the same label and Melanie gets compared to her a bit since Electra Heart was her inspiration on the making of a Concept/Visual album.

The song has leaked a while ago, its called "Bombs On Monday (Morning)" if you want to check it out

Might be  because they are part of K-12  

Fire Drill was literally in the K-12 movie and Copycat was probably also a song from those sessions she wanted to release. + The After School EP is still coming with Fire Drill and like 4 or 5 more songs

Oh oops I must have mixed up some true information with something fans were posting!  Oh god look at me spreading misinformation! That makes more sense.

After Shcool is an EP that will maintain the school - life analogy, but it is not about Cry Baby, but Melanie herself.

It was supposed to be out in the Spring, but due to Play Date popularity (a song from 5 years ago that went viral n TikTok) and COVID-19 messing up her recording sessions schedule, it's still unknown when is it going to be released.
