Jenna isn't perfect, no one is, but compared to so many people she is a genuine person that tries her best, and I think all of her fans can clearly see this. The fact that people were trying to cancel her to the point where she is now leaving her channel is so sad. I know this seems dramatic, but I've watched her every Wednesday/thuresday for 9 years. I grew up with her and her videos and now its gone. Idk I guess I just want to know if there is anyone else as upset about this as I am, because this is so unexpected. Edit: Obviously there are things that people do/say in their past that are unforgivable, but cancel culture has gotten to the point where no one seems to care about growth. The early 2000's and 2010's were a different time. Jokes were more insensitive and that sucks, but many people who made such comments have spent the last decade proving that they aren't like that anymore. I was never a huge fan on her earlier content but the last four years I have enjoyed her content quite a lot. I hope as she said she leaves for a little while until she feels she can make content that puts good into the world. However that wasn't even her intention, she was just overly tanned at the time like most girls were in 2011. Also one of her videos in 2011 portrayed an asian stereotype. Overall, since then she has proven herself to have grown and she has always been nothing but kind. Yeah I think I saw the Nicki Minaj one and just saw it as a mockery of the fake tan obsession of the 2010s. I'm not saying it should be a 'free for all' do whatever you want, upset whoever you want, but cancel culture is really exhausting and she's one of the nicest people I watched on YouTube...
