That last part was what I was really dreading. Gaga has the best sales for a female this year so far. Let's face it, the big female names like Beyonce, Rihanna, Taylor, Nicki and Billie aren't releasing albums this year. That meant that the only competition Gaga has is Adele, who was rumoured to be releasing in September. I thought it would probably get delayed because of corona but I'm so grateful its become a reality. I honestly can't think of one female artist who stands in Gaga's way of holding onto the record for the best female sales of 2020 and the overall most successful female release of 2020. Apart from 25, Gaga has always competed with Adele by releasing albums in the same year. Gaga obviously won back in 2008 but Adele won with her last 2 albums.
