What did he actually say? I can hardly get any word from this vid

Did you think I'd show up in a limousine? No

Wait I don't understand, can someone give me an analysis of what he's saying? Because I interpreted him as complimenting her, but clearly I must've gotten something wrong :air:

he also shaded her I think around the time of the Superbowl no? I remember him and Bad Bunny I think being shady about how she did not want to take a photo after the superbowl because she was sweating or something like that lol. He truly has a problem with her it seems and he tries to show it once in a while by making sly remarks laced in "humor" lol

he kept saying "and at the end u go back to #1" meaning her being complicated or a perfectionist is annoying and pointless because at the end u always go back to the first version of the song. It's not a big shade actually at all but he has a past of being shady to mostly female artists and he already shaded her a few times in interviews so people are fed up I think

Yes, he did. They said something along the lines of Jlo was humble and Shakira wasn't.

Kindness rules all.

I need a transcript. I can barely understand what he’s saying.

Oh interesting, I think it's cool to look back at old demos of songs you've completely changed and stuff, or am I the only one in this thread that does that? :billie:

But I don't completely go back to the way it was, if anything I keep that demo safe the way it is all by itself and not revert the final product from what it is to what it was, anyway I'll cut this short and try not to make a documentary on this phenomenon :vegas:

Honestly it’s not that bad, sue me :neyde: First he was laughing because neither him or Maluma got picked. The question asked for who was more flexible as a collaborator between Maluma or Balvin, the answer was Shakira which cued the laughing. Then he laughed at Maluma saying that the process in which Shakira does music is “one, two, three”

agreed with you actually. most of the time a person does not stick to the original version of a song or demo etc...but I think J Balvin is a lazy writer and artist in general lately so for him it is abnormal to spend so much time working on a song. He is the type to write a quick verse, dish it out and be easy to work with. Because Shakira is notoriously known to be SUPER hands on with her music (kind of like Gaga) she is sometimes deemed as being a perfectionist or hard to work with because she likes to create a connection with the ppl she works with, she likes to write her own lyrics, work on melodies etc...so for some it is abnormal. When Will was trying to compliment her J Balvin was just trying to be sly. I don't think any artist should be shady about another's way of working especially when the artist you are shading is a million times more talented, more successful overall and has created a legendary career for herself :billie:

Oh DEFINITELY, just because someone has a different song creating process than you doesn't mean it's worse than yours, if anything you should use that to your best advantage and create something together than you used both of your strengths on. I guess it also depends on who you're making the song for, the producer or the artist, if the artist wants a song a certain way because it's their song, the producer should try to make it the way they envision, if they're just featured on the producers song, than the producer gets to be more hands on. That's just common knowledge for me, if someone like him doesn't even understand that and he's been in the music industry for THIS long, then oooohh boy... I can see why he doesn't get around very much, I mean the most news he's gotten these last couple of years were just from him being shady :billie:
