Agreed, tho to be fair I think their peaks were just as big. Gaga's maybe even bigger, or at least it seemed so because her rise was so fast. Still a couple years, at least 5. Gaga's impact lasted longer than Gaga's peak, if that makes sense. But I agreed that Britney her peak was more iconic. Also because Britney her peak lasted longer it sudenly felt like a norm, just the way it should be. Years later I realise more how big her peak has been. Gaga's peak was more in your face, and other worldly if you ask me. Like Gaga was treated like she allready was the new queen while britney more like the princess becomming the next queen.
