That doesn't mean they know each other and automatically ensure being casted into a role is easy. Everyone got their hidden secrets, but in Tinsel Town, they also have their own groups as well, or clan, gangs, for lack of better words. Who are you loyal to. And if some major figure who got a lot of influence decides to blackballed you for any reasons, then your career is pretty much over, cos nobody would dare to hire or cast you in their movies for fear getting blackballed themselves. Unless you sided with another major figure who can back your career up even after all that. Ever wonder why some Oscars winners or Box Office stars were not able to secure any work afterwards? Babel 41,490
Sounds like an horny asshole and a bad sex experience. By the way she’s wording the story she sounds like she’s trying to make this bigger than it is. Idk.

His life shouldn't be destroyed, but he should be forced to take a closer look at his behaviour/attitude to those around him.

He’s also willing to go to the Police and lawyers to make a statement. He said she’s doing it for attention and clout. Better think twice cancel culture about ruining someone else’s life before getting all the facts. People shouldn't immediately point the finger and yell "liar" either, before knowing the facts. Yeah, no. I’m tired of people analyzing every single relationship to the tiniest details. I’m over the “power dynamic difference” and “grooming” bullshit. If you’re getting into relationship with someone 20 years older, you’re either aware that the other person is not in the same stage of life as you, or you’re a moron. There will always be a different power dynamic. One may have a better job, one may have more money, one may be smarter, etc. You present it like such a bad thing, when it’s just reality. It shouldn’t be mandatory to date your equals. Constantly questioning relationships because of the age gap is tiresome and you should give it up and let people live and handle things on their own. No one called her liar. Questioning someone’s story isn’t calling them liars. It’s more reasonable than cancelling someone or calling them disgusting just because someone says they’ve assaulted them. One is more aggresive than the other.
ristretto 883
What the **** is wrong with everyone talking her down? Were you there with them? If you don’t take sides in these situations (...) then just stay neutral and don’t take HIS side. Imagine sitting on a forum dedicated to an artist who speaks so openly about her rape and her CONTINUOUS trauma she suffers from it, to doubt any other person who speaks out. In that rhetoric you don’t believe Gaga either I guess. Go back to your caves.

It doesn't matter that *practically* you may be a legal adult by 18, the fact of the matter is is that she isn't a legal adult. Underage is underage, whether you're 8 or 12 or 17. Besides, 17 is still pretty young. You're still very naive, especially when it comes to sex, nevermind being involved with a celebrity. Her story was pretty simple to understand. Unfortunately people are trying to put the blame on her. Typical victim shaming—if this turns out to be true. If 17 is the age of consent in her state then why are you trying to debate the law? Or rather, what do you gain from it? Aren't you guys saying he raped her? If he did then why would it be different at 17 or 18, rape is still wrong in either case. Bringing in her age when it can be so easily debated that she is of age in her state just makes your argument a lot weaker. chaeri pls

Because depending on where they were, it could be statutory rape We don't know where they were, right? 17 may be the age of consent in her state, but where did the incident happen? As far as I know, we don't know that information. 𝔊𝔬𝔬𝔡𝔟𝔶𝔢, ℑ'𝔩𝔩 𝔰𝔢𝔢 𝔶𝔬𝔲 𝔦𝔫 𝔪𝔶 𝔡𝔯𝔢𝔞𝔪𝔰
