I love the Chromatica aesthetic :bradley: I just had to say it since I watched the SC lyric video. It’s so cyber and 2000s. I feel like I’m in a game and I love how different it is from her other eras. Her mind. And there’s so many random things everywhere that don’t make sense but the stylization is on point lol.

I overall like the aesthetic but I don’t even know what the SC lyric video is supposed to be

Each bug thing represents the singers. So whenever Gaga sings the pink one is in the front performing.

If you don't get the SC lyric vid aesthetic, then you don't understand Chromatica's aesthetic lol. It's her most cohesive one so far

Sour Candy lyrics video is a cultural reset. It’s post-videogame-art(pop) neo-cyberpunk fantasy post-apocalyptic wasteland on a 70’s LSD trip if the 70’s were the 90’s on steroid - we don’t deserve it.

Perhaps if I liked the song I’d be better able to get into the video :reductive:

I feel like it's more 90s idea of futuristic than 2000s

It's kinda like what Arca and Grimes are doing (Post Internet Futurism). Which is quite understandable cause Gaga's really gotten close with Bloodpop and Hana (Grimes' best friends). Gaga really gets into it when she finds someone she's inspired with. And so far, I don't think she's being a copycat. Let's see what else she has in store for the era.

Edit: This actually isn't the first time Gaga has explored Post Internet aesthetics. I think she was really exploring the nature of video games and how pop culture/internet has changed during ARTPOP. Chromatica is essentially the same it's just more tame and cohesive. ARTPOP is like Chromatica but "more Gaga" and loose.

I just hope they serve something like that with a high budget on the music video.

Does it matter? Damage is done
