But You and I is not the Adele type pop or soul-pop ballad that was being talked about. Every ballad isn't in the same genre. If you mean all ballads, then sure, she writes plenty. And You and I is an amazing one. Like @corvus albus said, we got a lot of that on Joanne But if you're talking specifically about ARUTW, INLA, ITA type ballads, they're conventional pop and slightly soul inspired (at least ITA) pop ballads which she doesn't do a whole lot of. ARUTW and INLA had minimal changes by her from what the original songwriters wrote. You and I is a countryish rock ballad.
