I could write a book about it, maybe one day I will. I lost a best friend and manager, LG lost her entire support team, and we were all alone. I am so grateful for this record because it taught me a lot. I made some friends that have changed my life forever in the halls where this record was recorded, whom I love so incredibly deeply. For all her flaws, strangeness and beauty, I thank you ARTPOP for the lessons learned and the gifts you gave. Happy 4th Birthday. Gaga ultimately has to be the captain of her own ship and another DJWS ARTPOP retry too soon could have ended her career. She’s made brilliant choices in keeping her career afloat. The album we got definitely sounds similar to that description. He seemed so excited to be part of the project. Hopefully they'll work again sometime. Gaga went one direction only to scrap it and go the other direction based on how she feels at the time. She may or may not use what she done before in future albums but I think we should just let it go and let Gaga do what she needs. If you can't support an album, then just move on to other artists until Gaga releases another album you can get on board with. Something tells me that what LG6 started out as was similar to what DJWS was working on (if the Cure is any indication) but it may not have been clicking with his as a producer. Or maybe they're going to release Chromatica: 2 or whatever and he's on that version. But we really shouldn't think about what could have been. I hope they put out more stuff in the future, he added a special touch to Born this way and ARTPOP! They did work on some songs from ASIB, so maybe! He also tweeted or said some nice sh*t about her post ASIB, and got mad at some fans who misinterpreted the documents and claimed he sued her (it was standard paperwork figuring out who gets what % for songwriting credits). I believe, although I'm not sure, he commented on social media that Gaga just decided to go in another direction. I know fans always talk about Gaga scrapping/redoing work, but she's hardly the first artist to do so. Beyonce allegedly had over 100 songs before she decided which ones to put on Lemonade and Adele is also famous for creating a ton of songs that rarely get used (she also said she had a complete album she scrapped). Lana's another one who has a ton of unreleased work floating around. TLDR: My guess is she scrapped the work and DJWS was fine with it since that's just the way the industry works some time.
