March34th 1,973
It gives off the vibes that it was written about the guy who sexually assaulted her, as she mentioned that Replay is about her PTSD - and we know from the past that her experience with assault has been a lot for her to get through over time
2School4Cool 6,439
I don’t think it’s herself (in the first verse at least) because she’s taking blame off of herself and in a way finally letting herself off the hook or forgiving herself when she says “I won’t blame myself ‘cause we both know you were the one.” I highly doubt it’s about her fans, she would never make a song bashing Little Monsters, especially on a healing album that she hopes will help people on their journey to healing. I also don’t think it’s particularly the media or label or anything like that, although it could be a combination of things. I think it’s just aimed at someone who’s caused her pain or someone who has been a big force in her PTSD. See The Best In Everyone
The BPD Monster 1,718
the first verse is about her abuser and ptsd from that. but the second vers is about fame and her fans.
Killa 17,471
One thing id add. It seemed to have another perspective Everytime she goes on stage and has to sing the song (s) that represent her trauma.she'll have to relive those moments, over and over And she then talks to herself. Blaims herself, and seems to not be able to let go of those memories. Its very disturbing.
