I grew up in a progressive very racially diverse town in NJ that actually just had their own peaceful protests with thousands of people, speakers etc. A co-worker who still lives there said his teen son went to play basketball at a park in their neighborhood and a white woman in her 70s basically said go play in your own neighborhood (which it was) than said "I never saw you around here N---" 😮.....Everyone there barked her out the park. This is the same town where 20 yrs ago, a white woman that same age, snapped on a white guy who mumbled something smart to black male teen on the bus. I really wanna know the psychology behind this because this is just the beginning of this phenomenon. Maybe it's desperate angry grotesque grab at this power/privilege to treat certain people like sh!t they thought they were entitled to.
