How do you personally define “pop music”?

Well, technically "pop music" is popular music, music that is popular at that current time. However, old Town Road was a popular song but I wouldn't class it as a "pop" song. I'd class most Katy Perry songs as "pop music" for example and her catalogue isn't like Old Town Road.

A label. For example DUA is a multigenere diverse multitasking chanteuse but people reduce her to only being a "pop" artist. Not fair.

Multigenre, diverse, multitasking :sharon:

You’re either trolling, or 5 years old lol

If pop means trendy and popular, so popular rappers like Nicki and Cardi are considered pop artists and her songs are pop? :saladga:

Well before stan world, I defined it as radio music. Idk I just see it as music now cus theres many different types of pop that appeal to more or less people but tbh when I see “pop song” I think of Katy Perry or Taylor Swift :rip:

Only those 2 options? My english vocabulary is not very diverse and Dua is my queen after Gaga.
