I provided sources and you provide emojis. No wonder you lost.

You didn’t provide anything but a ridiculous idea that Joe Biden is the spokesperson of all black Americans and if you criticize him you are against them.

Totally ridiculous and laughable.

What have I lost? I haven’t lost a damn thing.

Wow, nice debate skills. You have no argument so you resort to ad hominem attacks.

Regardless of whatever provisions were in the 94 Crime bill, it resulted in creating the system that we know today as mass incarceration, which includes the militarized police force that people are protesting right now.

Thats not exactly true.

"

Over the decades, no credible analyst has cast the 1994 crime bill as the trigger for mass incarceration. The evidence does show that the 1994 bill was part of a trend that was already underway. To vet Biden’s statement, we have to ask if the bill’s role was as small as he suggests.

We found many factors drove mass incarceration, including trends in the states that predated the 1994 law. But the law was in sync with those trends and may have encouraged them."

Our ruling

Biden said his 1994 crime bill "did not generate mass incarceration."

In the strictest sense, the law did not launch the massive rise in the prison population. But it was in keeping with pre-existing trends at the state level, and in a limited way, provided funds to expand and keep policies in place that would increase the number of people behind bars.

At the same time, the crime bill funded other programs and made changes aimed at keeping people out of prison.

We rate Biden's claim Half True.

Also, the other provisions do matter and did wonders, you dont get to sweep them away just because they dont support your agenda, because theyll be the first things you bring up when I say that Bernie Sanders voted yes on the bill.

Those same bills were supported by the vast majority of Black people. You lack knowledge of historical context.

Seriously. Go back and see who supported the 94 Crime bill. The Congressional Black Caucus overwhelmingly supported it. People forget it also included the Violence Against Women Act and the Assault Weapons Ban. You have oversimplified a complex issue in order to lob partisan attacks against an honorable man. You forget that things must be placed within their historical context to properly analyze them.

Do better. And don’t just listen to propaganda from another candidate that doesn’t come from a place of integrity or intellectual honesty.

Please do better.

You know who else voted in favor of that bill?

A certain Vermont Senator...

I've went over this with you already. Also, I never said Bernie was perfect.

Again, you prove yourself incapable of arguing in favor of Biden without invoking others... At some point you ought to ask yourself why that is.

Uhhh, did you miss the post above or something?  I brought you an analysis of the law you attack so much. And you chose to quote my answer to someone else. Evading again?

part of the issues the US has right now is do to the close-mindedness of people when it comes to politics. being able to understand other ideologies, mindsets, and reaching across the aisle is the only way we can ensure a prosperous country for all.

having 50% of the country irrationally hating a party/president will only weaken the US, until we eventually become a shell of the country we used to be (i.e. we fall in the same way as Rome--losing our power and our land significantly over a 120 year period).
