btwbrian 149 Posted June 5, 2020 Share Posted June 5, 2020 I was upset when I realized none of the Chromatica vinyls would have a cardboard gatefold like the rest (except TFM). I decided my quarantine project would be to create a wall of all my framed Gaga vinyls and picture discs, but realized I’d need a gatefold for both TFM and Chromatica to make it all even. I ordered one for Chromatica as a test run from American Vinyl Co. and WOW am I impressed. They make custom vinyls and accessories for special events, weddings, etc. The quality is the same as any standard matte gatefold, so its pretty durable. The image quality is outstanding. My only issue is the website has an online editor and when I uploaded the album cover, it didn’t let me manipulate it like I wanted to. There’s an option to upload your own from Photoshop via their template, but I’m not as skilled in that department so I went the easier route. I understand the plastic sleeve for the picture disc, however for the normal colour vinyls idk who decided to put them in plastic sleeves too.
