I worked in a national park like an hour away from montreal and there were americans wondering why it was so hot here and why there was not snow in the mountains. They thought it was cold all year long and that it was going to start being cold as they drove north. They were complaining because they did not pack any summer clothes and it was like 30 degrees. Yeah they don't realize in the summer when sun is over northern hemisphere there is less of a gap in temperature by latitude than in the winter so it's not significantly colder up north in July vs South than in January But ppl don't know science Also ur birthday is the same as mine. Yeah because we're in interior and by great lakes in my area it gets hot and humid AF Portugal and my part of Canada is actually not a huge difference by latitude if you look at the globe. Being in the interior is probably the reason our temperatures are more extreme humidex on the hottest summer days can go up to 50C while coldest winter days -20C (-40C with windchill) the extremes are not fun.
