that's also super cute omg... Thanks for noticing me <3 ps : it was 11 years after but still, this song is a beautiful thing and deep history. May I suggest we all remember 'Can you feel the love tonight' from the Lion King ?

So he did not sang at her funeral but he wrote for her. I get it now. Still impressive. I will listen to this song and edit

Do we know if the vocals we hear are the ones he recorded when it was his song? Did he go back to the studio to re-record his vocals when Gaga got a hold of the song?

I've read an Axwell interview where he said how crazy it was to record Elton over Skype? (or some other app forgot now) from Sydney Australia.

I'd assume it was at the time (probably just before) Elton had to cancel his tour downunder, so I'd say the vocals were new.

Tell me more about the backstory of this song! I've heard some monsters on here talking about how apparently the track is the oldest on the album, from 2013, and now you are saying that it was originally Elton's! Where did you guys learn all that? Was it the most recent Zane Lowe interview? (havent watched that one yet)

Why does Gaga barely have a verse in sour candy?

Mess :ladyhaha: I was going to ask why BLACKPINK only has a verse. I just want an extra thirty seconds of this song so badly :deadbanana:

Rolling Stone. Should get a Google alert cuz considering the news cycle etc articles/reviews/promo are popping up kinda inconsistently. Seems like content providers are getting to it when they get to it at this point

It was made by Axwell a long time ago (7+ years) and he said that they were trying to get to Elton John at that time but Elton was too busy to make it, and then the song was sitting on his laptop for a long time. Then Axwell was brought through BloodPop (I believe) to do some touching up on another song, and when they finished that, he remembered that he had this song waiting and that Gaga is close to Elton and that she can get ahold of him easier, so he sent it to Gaga and BP and they liked it and then they made it happen.

I like how they harmonize cuz the song is about how music saved them. But I still don’t get the Outro

Because the song was already short and she repeated the chorus twice and her outro is the best part. And blinks would boycot the album if the girls got any less time than they did. :cryga: The song isn’t in my top 5 of the album / but I think it’s wildly impressive how they structure the song where everyone gets time to shine imo
