Well, Billie was messy to say this, when Lana has influenced her sound.

The other half of her music (the one that is not her edgy/aggressive music) is totally inspired by Lana. Intentionally or unintentionally, but it’s a fact. Ocean eyes, lovely, wish you were gay, I love you, idontwannabeyouanymore, have this sound that Lana made popular last decade.

And this is no shade to Billie cause I like her a lot, but this is the truth. And while I think WWAFAWDWG? was one of the best albums, Lana totally deserves to get it this time.

I don’t wanna argue more on this because I don’t want to derail the thread
