that was my assumption, but I just checked some stats I pulled of US Spotify last week when I was making my predictions chart and they don't match up. Hmm.

These are the total US Spotify Charts streams from May 28 - Jun 3

So I'm not sure now.

Because obsessed chart 'stans'  basicly live thru their 'fav' and they have a feeling of 'accomplishment' when saying 'lol this was already posted '. They also usually feel great by saying 'lol x artist is such a flop'.
