She will obviously be nominated I’m not saying that. But the only win she seems to have on lock is with DSN and that too might go to Blinding Lights. Her album does not stand as a solid body of work without the singles so I don’t see her winning album awards.

Oh I was just talking about the noms, not wins. Whether her album stands as a solid body of work is just purely personal opinion, but I do think that The Weeknd will be the one to truly watch out for this time around.

The pure sales numbers they have are really accurate but their CSPC method is only a way to measure popularity and not the actual sales numbers @littlepotter

For The Remix only its pure sales numbers count because nobody is streaming it

I don’t think she’s an exciting contender. Yes she has the critics, but there are no numbers to back her. No charisma either. Award shows are more about politics than the quality of music.

Also considering the current political climate, I don’t see a white woman winning in the general categories. The Weeknd is their best choice.
