Watermelon sugar gaining some traction is so refreshing to see, maybe radios and the pop landscape in general will be more open to having post album singles smash again

Interesting, chromatica is up in AM US. This could mean longevity. This is without much promo after rain on me.

was it added to a lot of playlists after the MV was released? it's strange since it was a promo single before the album even came out and it's smashing now... maybe SL still has a chance  a sleeper hit indeed. Jokes aside hope Chromatica's rollout is similar, release lots of videos to sustain interest and hopefully at least one the songs will do well (aside from Rain on Me and Sour Candy).

Yes it started getting good playlisting after the video but good playlisting and a video doesn't guarantee a #13 spot on US Spotify or even one in the Top 50 tbh. People seem to like it. Other labels should take a cue from Columbia in order to prolong eras.

Also I won't be in peace before Sour Candy MV gets released, it's shaping up to be a hit in the asian market and a MV would only further the chances of it becoming a smash hit over there, and maybe to some extent in other markets. Doing that while releasing other MV's/doing promo to sustain interest in the album is gonna give Chromatica legs, mark my words.

Harry is serving TABS this era and I love to see it

Almost 500k in the US and multiple weeks at #1, more than any other male pop artist since Justin Bieber in 2015 and more than Ed Sheeran 

I really loved Lights Up and I thought it was going to be the hit of the album and here we are, in June and the third single barely starting to rise.

Talent always wins, truly the male version of Gaga

good music always smashes... its just that the pop girlies have stopped trying or release next singles early when the previous one is still smashing...they dont wanna be patient and wait for the right time to push the next single. probably not their fault... its the labels who are mismanaging.

SL views on youtube are kinda stable, around 450k-500k every day, but most importantly spotify streams are stabilizing around 1M. 

I could very much live with SL just being a cute little streaming song, hopefully it reaches around 300M on spotify in the next year
