Ugh, Marina... honestly this is just ignorant. And I cannot defend her for being ignorant. It's 2020 and this thought and tweet is so archaic and just.. not thoughtful. I hope she learns from the reactions of people, apologizes, and grows from it.

I am not "cancelling" her, since cancel culture is toxic in it's excessive abundance, but am disappointed and hope she learns a few things from this.

Where will you go if someone rob you, beat you, if someone causes an accident, if someone threatens your loved ones?

Racism is not professionally related, there are good policemen who risk their lives, hunt down criminals and save our lives. So take several seats

I know people (of color) who got robbed and called the police and they didn't do sh*t but accuse them and be rude and say that getting robbed in places like those (where lots of POCs live) is normal 

I know people (of color) who got pulled over by cops and got treated really badly and called racial slurs and threats 

Take into consideration that not everybody has made positive experience with those mfs

If you are robbed by an Asian or a black or fireman, will you say that they are all thieves?
If you are beaten by a cashier in a shop, does it mean that you have to be mentally ill to be a cashier?

Stop with that generalization. It's not race, profession or gender that makes you a bad person.

all people who say acab know that not all cops are racist anti gay power tripping assholes. yes if you know someone who's a cop, they're probably nice people who think they're doing a good thing but at the end of the day all cops are a part of a corrupt system that has a massive racial prejudice issue, brutality issue and an issue of 40% of cops having domestic abuse charges. on top of that cops don't care if the laws they're enforcing are just or not. all you do by saying "not all cops" etc. is showing how sheltered you are.

Take into consideration that not everybody has made negative experience with the cops. So you are agreeing her argument that someone has to be mentally ill to be a cop? Even if it is intended as sarcasm or rethoric, a bad one it is.

This is your another argument that I actually agree. Cops especially in US is part of a corrupt system, as in US other system.

 

Edit : I personally suggest that US film industry has to stop making series like NCIS because it is nothing but propaganda. US police is nowhere near that intelligent and composed.

1 - No one is gonna loot my house because I support BLM. A majority of the looting targets big corporate business's who aren't going to have their profit effected what so ever. insurance will cover almost 90 percent of their losses as well as small business too. They might end up making even more through insurance because of the losses. (this is why people commit fraud and burn down their house and business for insurance checks) it pays very well 

Its sad u value property over human lives. 

 

2 - People I love are being threatened and beat.... Because they are black......

Its by the police. 

 

3 - statistically a majority of police are terrible and will do the wrong thing. If you need proof turn on a tv or look at the thousands of videos being posted of the protests. Police are the one starting the riots and causing violence. I have seen them punch or attack peaceful protesters.
