It's like they're a totally separate thing. I think it would be interesting to see Gaga do a surprise drop. I wonder how it would work out. I know this fan base would go absolutely nuts. Stir crazy. I overplay singles so much that when the album comes out and I go to listen to it in full for the first time, I'm crazy tempted to skip the singles, even I like them. And they do feel weirdly disconnected from the album, even if they match the theme perfectly. Over time, this feeling will fade, though. When I hear old Gaga singles now, it's like I'm rediscovering their genius again. Probably the only one that I think I overplayed to the point of running it into the ground is Bad Romance. I just heard that song one too many times. I sometimes fear I don't even really like it all that much anymore. To remedy it, I just don't listen to it so the rare times I do hear it, it'll maybe take me back to how much I loved it in 2009. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
