Like, if this album had been released 20 to 25 years ago, it would have been considered revolutionary, genius, a total hit, completely sick AF. People would be creaming their panties if this had come out in 1998. At moments it reminds me of Deee-Lite, other moments has strange 90s trip-hop / portishead vibes, and is completely infused with 90s Diva House vibes. It just sounds so dated. Pretty bummed that this is her response to Joanne & ASIB albums. I can't get into it. I'm glad you guys are all super stoked. Rage it. Enjoy it. It's very modern with a solid, consistent production. It seems a bit soon to decide that you can't get into it, but it's absolutely ok if you don't like it. I hope you end up liking it though!
