Welcome to the streaming era! well, it's an "evolution" to fit the streaming era (which is not HER fault), but artistically it's a risk and actually a set back I'm sure the album is still great, but that's one of the things I've also always loved about Gaga, the songs being mostly 3:30-4:30 or even longer, it showed that she put in the work and really makes art pieces. For those who say that ROM "doesn't feel short", you're hearing something else than me. I love it, but it definitely feels a bit short. I hope I don't get this feeling with the rest of the album. I'd rather have songs with a greater quality and that feel full, than having some bragging points because she makes some higher % of streaming than with longer songs. I know it's all intertwined, but it's a compromise that I don't like seeing, at least not on paper. Lextyr97 19,247 Posted May 27, 2020 Share Posted May 27, 2020 I’m disappointed that they are all short but this will be a VERY easy album to listen to start to finish pretty much every time, as long as every song is as good as Rain On Me 😂 I will admit that sometimes listening to albums in full is hard for me. I get tired of it if it’s too long even if I love every single song (BTW Deluxe, Madame X Deluxe, Norman ****ing Rockwell, etc). I’ll wait til it comes.
