TBF I wasn't really paying attention and was looking forward to finishing my cold mcdonalds BUT here we are many, many streams/video replays later and it's become my favorite Gaga song. Something about the lyrics are just so feel good and reassuring that life will get better no matter how bleak things seem. I know there's like a million pop songs with that same message but something about this being a fun pop song and not some slow tempo power ballad with the same meaning just makes it easier to connect too. Then reading Gaga talk about the double meaning of the song with her drowning her problems in alcohol got to me. That's currently something I'm struggling with hardcore and it makes things a bit easier knowing I'm not alone. I literally tear up at the “it’s coming down on me... water like misery” lyric and I have no idea why but to say I’m obsessed with this song and video is an understatement.
