Seeka 12,372 Posted May 23, 2020 Share Posted May 23, 2020 Something tells me while she's happy that her music has done well, the flak of all her music (BTD to UV, and the unreleased stuff that contains the similar themes and concepts) got to her because she may have spent to much time alone and feels that what she originally started when more her. But she can't return to that. Because she states it blatantly. That some victims of abuse tell themselves stories to make it better because they can't see ways out. I feel bad for Lana. She must feel like she can't be herself. Or she may be taking a dip into depression again. She has admitted to being suicidal. Sometimes people's medication is being themselves through their songs. While I don't mean Lana was being disingenuous or fake for LFL and NFR (Honeymoon is this weird era bridging UV and LFL) I think she may view them differently. It also doesn't help her fandom is either praising those two albums as her best or BTD and UV. Girl might be experiencing identity issues. Being famous for your creativity will pull you in a couple of different directions if you're not grounded. I think Lana may be trying to find ground again. She’s really nice in person but I can tell that the worlds bad opinions of her get to her and the only way she gets it out is online. It seems like she is attacking everyone but she’s obviously going after select people or articles that she hated that have put her down. I think from her perspective she sees these big pop icons getting to sing about anything they want including things that are considered bad and being praised for it but she feels like if she sings about reality that might not even be good or healthy she gets put down. How many of those people ACTUALLY misunderstood, and how many chose to to create stan drama? Or how many didn’t bother to think for 5 seconds about what she meant?
