Omg yes! I agree with this. The last chorus is definitely one of her best choruses in her career... they should have used it in every chorus and then just extended for the last one with some extra electronic beats added to it...

Exactly. That part as main chorus would have made this song much powerful. Also they should have repeated that last part at least twice. I keep on listening to that part again and again

Love it when you call me legs In the morning, buy me eggs

Don't know it's the best but I feel like it's going to be one of the most iconic ones

I feel like the whole song is a big build up to that last hook, wish it would last longer:music::firega:

I completely agree..i love it but if it went for one more chorus  length it would be perfect..say 3.30 length

period.

It invokes the same joy, optimism, and passion as Just Dance, Born This Way, The Edge of Glory, Marry the Night - it feels so pure and meaningful. Gaga is at her best when she just lays her soul bare and let's go. It's perfect.

Butters Stotch

I didn't get this vibe from a Gaga song since the BTW era, not even from the music on ARTPOP. ROM really is amazing, catchy but not basic, makes you wanna dance and you can also feel all the pain she put on the lyrics, like it gives you energy :diane: I LOVE IT!!!! Everytime she says RAIN. ON. ME.... I f*cking die, it's amazing!!

After a couple listens I just thought to myself “this song is about to be considered a classic in her career, the kind of classic where years from now when people look back over her career this will be one of those iconic songs people will celebrate and reminisce over.”

Whether this song is a number one hit or it doesn’t chart, I don’t care. It’s so special. It’s one of her most fun songs ever while also having so much meaning. If Chromatica is even half as good as this song, we may be on the verge of one of if not her best album to date.

I think the last chorus is the strongest part of the song. The last chorus into the outro is magical. The rest of the song is a bit meh for me, but those last 30 seconds :lolly:

It’s amazing but y’all say that now and in an hour people are gonna be calling it basic

Well there were threats of unstanning immediately after Stupid Love dropped, so I think this situation will be more positive :laughga:

it is definitely not for me...it just feels flat. like there’s not much lyrical content other than “rain on me rain on me rain on me”.

also where’s the big “drop and buildup” everyone kept hyping?

Agreed

Its not her best

You're right, there is a flatness to ROM and SL, idk what that's about :oprah:

It’s an excellent song, but one of her best? Not sure.

I’ll keep listening all day tomorrow and re-evaluate

Literaly a perfect song. A SMASH. When Ariana Grande vocals came in I could not stand it. Like, it better be a #1 for weeks. Rain On Me goes perfectly before my fav ari song, No Tears Left To Cry ! Feelin the pain, crying and dancin, then celebratin. Perfect song duo
