raragaga 8,119
I absolutely love Joanne, but it probably wouldn't have had the same effect.ย xoxo
selenalavigne 1,433
Would I stan Kacey Musgraves if she was aย Bicurious Italian New Yorker? still a no. and thinking about it... any pop follow up to Joanne would have been considered selling out. it sounds and was meant to be a middle of the road album. Ready to Stan LG7
2School4Cool 6,455
100 percent yes! Obviously the dynamic of her career would be different, so who knows what would have led me to discovering her music, but just based on the music alone, I would have been an instant fan. Joanne is my number one favorite Gaga album! See The Best In Everyone

LOVE JUNKIE 3,299
Only if The Fame, TFM, BTW and ARTPOP were her next 4 releases on a three day bender
JRCF29 8,219
Itโs impossible for meย to even Imagine this. Joanne made sense for where she was at in her life and career, it almost reminds me of when KISS took their face paint off for a few years. The stripped down, Stefani G instead of โLady GaGa.โ The album isnโt exactly interchangeable with The Fame in the way of sound, themes, or aesthetic either Don't Call Me Gaga

Red Velvet 10,988
Would I have known her from the start? No. Would I be a fan? Yes. It doesnโt matter what genre you are as long as you make good music, I am a fan. I'm like some kind of supernova
Hades 27,980
38 minutes ago, HybridAT said: This is a ridiculous thing to say. There's nothing average about her. She was born to break out and make her own space. When she blasted on to the scene there was nobodyย like her and she was seen as a pop oddity. But she hustled hard for her place and made every single eyeball that looked at her pay attention to her voice and her talent. Besides, Joanne has songs that are memorable not forgettable. Just because it isn't your taste doesn't mean the album is bad. It's a solid album. Ignore her. She drinks.
