What was your most worthwhile surgery, and the most/least painful? Most of my skin treatments were for acne scarring, they barely did anything. A huge waste of money I've had TCA peels (I do them myself at home), microneedling (I purchased an electronic needling machine with cartridges to do at home), I've had Infini RF and CO2 laser too. I tried Botox once but I didn't need it so I looked exactly the same I'm saving for plastic surgery right now, I want a hairline reduction and maybe something else to do with the shape of my skull, I look weird from most angles and am deeply unhappy with my appearance. Like some people have even said on here that I have a huge forehead and stuff, and people have come up to me in clubs to tell me I look like a thumb lol. But it is so expensive. Me too! I actually wanted to be a cosmetic nurse for a living and do botox, fillers, etc, but you have do a nursing degree for 2 years and I didn't think I'd get through it To be honest, I'd do the nosejob and chin implant again over the braces. The braces were two years of torture, while having ugly metal things in my mouth, and I was 22-24 years old so it really effed up my early 20s. Constant appointments, tightenings, pain, not being able to eat properly, they'd scratch at my cheeks and make me bleed. For two, years. The healing process from my plastic surgery was awful at first, but surprisingly not that painful. I just took ibuprofen and paracetamol regularly which are over the counter drugs. He gave me some codeine too but I didn't even need it. And within two weeks I was mostly back to normal, in 2-3 months I was completely back to normal. So yeah, 2 years of torture vs a few weeks/months f.uck braces. Oh I've also got a 0.5mm derma roller for at home because it's all I can afford, but I think after a few months of using it weekly I'm seeing a slight difference. I have a lot of skin on my face, which my surgeon and my cosmetic nurse both confirmed for me (thanks genetics ) so my skin bunched up a lot when I made expressions, and the lines on my forehead around my eyes were getting deep when I was like 26, but the botox has completely smoothed them out and I can still make expressions that look totally natural! I love it! I'm going in to see my lady in a week from now and I'm so excited lol it's my favourite part of every 3 months. Also to get my lip filler topped up I only get a little bit (0.5ml every 6-9 months) because I didn't have a top lip before. Surgery is very, very expensive, and not something to be taken lightly. But I will say that it can make a big difference in you life, and it's permanent so it's an investment for your whole life. But you also have to be sure that you're psychologically ready for it so you have no regrets. You don't want to go into it questioning if it's the right thing, or feeling guilty about getting work done. You have to be completely assured that it's right for you. I sat on the decision for about 8 years before committing! Also choose the right surgeon! I wish I did a bit more research because my results weren't perfect, but I am still happy! I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin.

It's the beard that ages him.

freebit 6,221
Gwen Stefani initially looked SO good, but then she hit the fillers too hard. Now she looks plastic-y, and like a generic, almost outdated LA sort of pretty (like Holly Madison, and the actors on daytime soaps in the 00s). Though she does sometimes look IG model-ish in some shots, but that's not an improvement IMO, it's more a lateral move. It's frustrating because she used to be so cool, and it's hard to look cool if you can't move your face IMO. She is also so freaking beautiful, and would have been more so if she hadn't done all this unnecessary business to it. That said, even this weird diluted beauty she has is still pretty aesthetically because she still has great bone structure, but it's just uncanney-valley-like and frozen now.
