It definitely would if Gaga still had that image of being an artsy showgirl but now she literally has no identity.

She's somewhere between Bebe Rexha and Dua Lipa.

No, she isn't.

but what does Chromatica and Stupid Love stand for you know...

there hasnt really been a message or even a theme this era minus the Kindness Punks which gurlll :rip:

Applause was a fun pop song but it also had like a strong message like you get to know Gaga a bit more you know.

Actually every single she has released has had that except Stupid Love.

That's what I'm missing from her an IMAGE.

But yes Applause is a SMASH that is super underrated and I wish she had performed it at the super bowl.

Girl, this is literally insulting to the visuals Chromatica has provided us:air: she’s still so ahead of the other girls in that department

Bebe Rexha? Please. Chromatica isn't even out yet. Stupid Love is simply a fun pop song, imaging judging her message through it. We've only heard ONE song. :rip:

Applause is a song that speaks to other performers more than the GP. I always thought this song might be great for other performers to cover and spread more virally with covers. I think it has aged well though.

 It’d still smash. Applause’s production aged like fine wine imo. Lyrically its a but off but hell people are into BILLIE EILISH these days. ARTPOP would fair fine.

:trollga:Imagine if JND dropped today but with like Post Malone & Travis Scott featured? The way that’d EXPLODE

Imagine having the AUDACITY to say the Stupid Love video is worse than Bebe Rexha. SL might be not your favorite Gaga video, but is still WAYY ahead of other artists.

Applause is just not a strong track and releasing it as a lead was a mistake.

DWUW solo (or with someone cooler like Frank Ocean or Nas) should've been the lead with a proper video

I'm having a hard time picturing them on a song like that, it seems outside of their lane.

I don't really consider Nas to be cooler either
