Oh yea, I know that about Lil Nas. But most people didn't. I'm just comparing the general idea of who these people are. Because people weren't talking about Nas' past, they were mainly trashing his sexuality. While the same men are silent on 69. Because at the end of the day, being gay is just the worst thing in the world for them.

absolutely agree with you. him falling off is mostly because he came out. Had he not he would probably be still churning out hits but his later singles sort of underperformed and even his social media power has dwindled in a way. It's sad that it was because of his sexuality and not because of his problematic past tbh

I'm trying to remain hopeful that the only reason he's getting this hit right now is because he just got out of jail and his fans want to support him. Until now, his only top 10 was Fefe. This suggests that his hits are going to be few and far between, he's not an artist who gets maximum support with every single. So I don't know if this is a trick he can do twice in a row. Regardless, I hope pop fans from all avenues rise up and support the pop songs near the top to stop this from happening. To have Gaga's single blocked by an abuser would be absolutely awful.
