I'll still pop in to see how far her career has come (sarcasm)

Otherwise I'm done with her 3 year old personality when she has no legs to stand on after releasing music of declining quality.

Like previously stated, I'm not sure what Fantasea II is...but it's evident she's dropped and hasn't addressed it, or the label disliked her work so this is a last ditch effort to get promo to release a mediocre album.

I'm not the first to notice all her raps are lyrically the same and begin to blend together.

Lol remember this

thats really sounds like a mess :rip:

Look at around page 247 and onwards

I root for you. I love you. You, you, you, you.

A mess and a half. Lorde likes Gaga, Lana made a song before Gaga was even big and people were thankfully rational enough to realize that. Azealia's comments were recent and everyone here was gushing over her being on the album till her comments. 90% of the vitriol here against her are solely because of her Gaga comments an that's undeniable.

I agree!

I'm trying to learn Count Contessa's lyrics

but I'm having a hard time to pronounce these fast like Azealia does

:toofunny:

To me it is so easy :gaga:

I like dancin', and ponies....

Big? :smh: Like Macklemore, which was the example given and the group being discussed?

Thrift Shop sold over 13 million copies. How many did 212 sell?  What was its BB position?

you dont think its big for a rapper from harlem (unsigned) to have your song to actually chart in 3 countries? dont try to discredit someones success just cause someone else is bigger  ;)

I don't think you can compare Macklemore and Lewis, with their constant upward mobility and positive output for years- which built up industry respect and a large established fanbase, to what Azealia has done over the past few years. That was my point in my first comment. M&L did the things necessary to get to the point that they could be a viable recording act with an Indie label. Even then, they had to hire a major label to carry out distribution and promo to radio and to the music industry in general. If Azealia wants to pursue the same path, she has some work to do in building up those areas in her career.

That was the original discussion...how Macklemore and Lewis managed to have a highly successful era, while signed to an Independent label.

i wasnt comparing success to ML with AB  :deadbanana:

you said to be independent and successful you have to do this, this , this etc... and all i said was that shes gotten success without a label before, and can do it again. shes gonna be fine, shes not gonna get mainstream success like always, but she does have a following an will get some profit

their situations are different to compare

She will rise again, this is not her first time getting dropped.

She was originally signed to an UK label, I believe it was Parlophone.

No, I stated that it is the way Macklemore and Lewis found success while being signed to an Indie label...as they were the ones being offered as an example of Independent artists.

You stated that she "got big" after my explanation of how and why M&L made it to the successful level they accomplished. You are the one that implied that Azealia's "big" was comparable to M&L's level and it isn't. Simple as that. :)
