"Marilyn Manson started production for his ninth studio album in 2013. In early 2014, Gil Sharone of Stolen Babies revealed he had been working on the new album since November. A new song, titled "Cupid Carries A Gun", is currently being used as the opening theme to the television series Salem. The song was composed alongside music producer Tyler Bates.
