I was just happy she was touring in Europe and I got a chance to see her. I'd hoped for a mixtape next year. When she did that festival interview last year and said this was going to be an innovative, forward, next level album I was thinking she'd gone for more of a Yeezus sound or something. Raw. Industrial. And I thought by the time the album would see a release the hype around that sound would've died down. But no. Here this b---h comes with a smörgåsbord of sounds and genre's. No one has done this in rap. Ever. This album feels like her journey does... It's like growing up with her. Little Harlem drama queen ghetto princess gets sent her very first Chanel outfit, starts travelling around the world, gets her heart broken and continues to grow and eventually ends up a wise old witch with the best weave and the most interesting experiences. You just want to pick her brain apart. I am slayed beyond belief. I met her after the BWET preview tour and I felt like she was a little "over" everything. It's a great album that can hopefully squash any jokes at her expense. Even if it were to not sell well, it doesn't take away the quality of the work.
