Yeah it flopped pretty bad. Was a low point at Disney Animation. Was even going to have a roller coaster themed ride at Disney World.

But Disney loves playing with Jules Vernes works and they do it really well imo. I think this could be the start of a whole new set of live action movies based on Verne stories. That would make my whole life! :selena:

Disney definitely ran out of ideas. What a waste of money.

They could use it to create new fascinating stories about the future...

(like a trip to space or a future pandemic episode)

I want to say yes, but over the years the general public developed taste and it now has a huge following.

Underrated movie, with one of the best intros I've seen from Disney imo.

I was obsessed about Atlantis since was a kid, loved the game on PS1 and still watch it on Netflix often. :flutter:
