I mean, have you seen Gaga ever debuting below 100k? Joanne was also preceded by an underperforming lead single and look at how much it sold. Chromatica will most likely debut with less numbers than it would’ve if it wasn’t for the global crisis, but it’s most definitely going in the 100-200k route. Gay twitter is not enough for an album to succeed lmao, it’s a very small percentage of the people.

This album seem to have really low hype except from Gaga fans so... 150K at this point is already a very good prediction imo

This is the second album cycle that I don't care at all about chart achievements. I was gladly surprised about A Star Is Born chart success but I was hoping for it. Same thing with Chromatica. I wasn't expecting Stupid Love to be a hit and it was a top 10 hit. Let's wait and see.

Because it’s 2020, not 2010, and the most buzz around the album in months has been ONLY from twitter gays because she released a Chromatica thong. Also we’re in the middle of a pandemic like...

she released a decent album in a time of drought of course stan twitter would praise her but she is in no way near pop queen status. she isnt even close to the weeknd status thats why he outsold her. she had a good album out but yall exaggerated her comeback, her sells went just as i expected, mediocre/high. she hasnt solidified herself as a pop girl i really could not wrap my head around the fact that yall expected her to sell 200k.

EDIT: dua doesnt have a solid fanbase (yet) nor a huge impact on pop music, i dont get how yall think that twitter praising her means..... anything?

Her career took a huge hit after her 4th & 5th album she went 7 years without a true smash hit Applause & Shallow weren’t enough it was too much of a gap she lost a **** ton of momentum other acts came & dominated in that time she set the tone of who she was with her first three albums but after that NADA BLANK it was as if she didn’t want to be “Lady Gaga” anymore she was almost angry to be associated with the image & sound she created and went in the opposite direction with ARTPOP& Joanne shutting out the general public only catering to monsters & since then she hasn’t shown the same numbers there’s been a steady decline ....on Chromatica she’s teamed up with Max Martin & co in hopes of churning out some hits but Stupid Love slipped before it could truly truly hit she claims to not care about charts or sales so why should her public be so concerned simply purchase the record & give all you can give, your support....Besides her record label why should anyone be concerned with her numbers ? Those first 3 albums solidified her & maybe that’s all she wrote who knows we’ll just have to wait & see what’s in store #May29 ❤️

I think it's almost inevitable for her to "flop" with Chromatica. At least in comparison to previous albums.

People stream music nowadays, pretty much no one buys albums anymore - and we're still in the middle of a pandemic. 

I wouldn't expect Chromatica to sell more than 50k.
