This album is barely riding the asib hype anymore and isn't the same public Gaga is still so weak at streamings, pure sells will suffer and the bundles were supposed to not count, since two weeks? Shell have 200-210 k max. Also remember stupid love first week was really poor on pure sells. Also remember that Stupid Love leaked. 10,000s of people had already heard it. Plus, a single is different from an album

EDIT: dua doesnt have a solid fanbase (yet) nor a huge impact on pop music, i dont get how yall think that twitter praising her means..... anything? This. Some people on here are so d***

At least in comparison to previous albums. People stream music nowadays, pretty much no one buys albums anymore - and we're still in the middle of a pandemic. I wouldn't expect Chromatica to sell more than 50k. oh wow. theahsfan 13,822
Everyone saying "ChRoMatIcA hAs NOoO hyPe!"!"1"! DO YOU have a way of definitively measuring hype? Or does Troy from New Jersey just feel it in his bones that 'the album has no hype lmao'? You think Joanne had a lot of hype based on the singles released before the album? No, but it still did well. And Gaga is no Dua Lipa.

Is this ACTUALLY realistic? like, we should take into account the fact that Gaga has a huge fanbase who will pull together to stream tf out of the album, and BLACKPINK and Ariana stans will stream the album Joanne's early first week prediction was 140k SPS and we ended up with 201k SPS ... ASIB's prediction was much lower than what was turned out in the end Yes the pandemic will affect it but will it really affect it THAT much? I'm just losing so much faith in this annoying, pessimistic fanbase Because ARTFLOP and because Joanneflop Haha JK! I love BTW Dirty pony I can't wait to hose you down

theahsfan 13,822
also surely Gaga will have big promo from Apple based on her deal with them?
HookerOnAChurch 6,786
I don't care that much about commercial success. Personally speaking it is not a matter of not esteeming her, I have a lot of esteem for her, what bothers me is her total absence, which leads to a world of "darkness", sometimes sadness and even anger because it seems that the Gaga of which I am in love is gone and I don't know if she will return. Maybe i just love her too much.
