FATCAT 60,355
Please don't post flamebait in this thread, everyone. It's just going to come back to bite us in the future & this is a label level of control that I'm sure the artists had no control over. They could each probably make individual donations for more than what will be raised via digital sales. This wreaks of using a pandemic for publicity imo. on a three day bender

It’s predicted to sell 45,000 sales via digital copies. 45,000 * 1.29 (price of the song) = $58,050 donation. It’s great some money is being donated to a charity but they could have easily donated more as I’m sure they’re sitting on millions of dollars. And now that it’s worth less, it’s less of a donation. It just bothers me massively when record labels put out songs and sales go to charity. Mostly because, that charity money that was used to buy the song is written off by the business and they profit from it at the end of the year anyway. That's why I say no to being asked to donate anything during a point of sale.
