I see lots of you praising FN, but I'm really wondering, is it good because it's a good album per se, or is it good for Dua Lipa but not Gaga?

Would you be okay if you waited for 2 years and Gaga delivers Future Nostalgia as it is, meaning no changes, no additional tracks, exactly the same lyrics, exactly the same synths and melodies, etc.?

Let Dua keep it. It's amazing that she has such an incredible album so early in her career.

However, it did surpass my expectations for a Gaga album, so I voted that

It’s a good album because an artist who has only been an artist for like 4 years made it. It’s top notch work period! The growth through her performances, and voice and writing is what made this album so special to so many people.

Physical would have been a smash but the rest of the album would be seen as too safe for Gaga because it's too generic and easily forgettable.

FN is a perfect album at 80%.

I don't usually like this "what if this album was from this artist" because album are born from an artist for that artist, and are not exchangable.

FN is not a Gaga album and couldn't be one since it has nothing like Gaga.

It's a perfect album to me, but it would've meant a 180° turn from Gaga's sound and pinkprint

Generic doesn’t mean that something is bad and in what way is FN generic
