The speculation made the wait so interesting cause everyone was coming up with different concepts and fanmade covers for the album and songs. Gaga teased both titles and lyrics, dropped snippets periodically, gave us an insight on creative projects such as the fiber optic wig, and performed some of the tracks at the itunes festival. Plus, we got Stache, Cake, B*tch Don't Kill my Vibe (demo), Aura (demo) and the official release of Applause, Venus and DWUW. Even tho gaga learned from her mistakes and decided to be more secretive with this album, that's exactly what makes the wait feel much longer this time (specially after the delay and the lack of official announcements from her team until recently). Not only did Stupid Love leak a month before it's release, but the music video stills, promo dates, cover, and tracklist did too. Being at home with nothing else to do doesn't help some of us either. Still doesn’t change the fact that the album is insufferable she’s still an amazing artist she’s had 4 great albums so far she’s about to have her 5th. With ARTPOP it was her, her team, and the public just being into her anymore is to blame. The promo for ARTPOP was big, but it didn't translate into its sales. With Chromatica we get what we get. Now we know it was only 2 weeks or so, but at the time it feels like never ending. It feels so close yet so far. It was a torture and I am not a fan of it! I'd rather keep waiting for news when the new album will be announced than that. To almost have something then taken away close to the d-day was not pleasant. It was also unkind. ARTPOP had 600k+ first week sales WW which is more than what most others did 2013. It may not be her best album but it still has many bops and good music videos.
